Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Every year at the fair, I look forward to eating at this restaurant, but I was highly disappointed and the proper handling of their food this year when I came to order my food, there was flies all over the food which instantly made me have a bad taste in my mouth so I requested could I get something fresh meat and be directly handed in my hand, not only is flies all over the food poor sanitation . Flies can transmit over 100 pathogens, including Salmonella and E. coli, by landing on and contaminating you causing food poisoning. Flies all on food is so a violation of the Maryland food service regulation. I’m not sure why it was so hard to properly cover the food . And when the owner came and approach me very nonchalant and his excuse was because we’re at the fair so because we’re at the fair does that mean that the proper handling of food doesn’t matter because we’re at the fair so because we’re at the fair does that mean you don’t have to wash your hands to handle the food because we’re at the fair. I was highly disappointed in his response to my concerns about the proper handling of the food with flies on it.

We ordered 5 lbs of steamed crab legs to go. We live approximately 20 minutes from the restaurant. The crab legs were so dry the meat “crumbled”. The shells were rubbery and would not crack. We heard they were good from JB Seafood, however, will not try them again.

Update - I have eaten here several times now. I really enjoy their burgers! Thick patty and fresh vegetables. Also their butterfly shrimp was amazing. However, the fries are not consistent - Beware. First time I ordered fries, they were thick and battered. Second time, it was thin flavorless McDonald's fries. The ranch is store bought. The canned cocktail drinks are nasty and don't even make me buzzed. Skip them. We ordered close to closing time and service was still excellent. I can't say the same for other restaurants. And I know it's a seafood restaurant but the pizza is great. I love the variety on the menu.

We come here frequently. My favorite side is the potatoe salad. No one makes it like they can. The oyster poboy is a favorite and the wings are always done perfect. I would highly recommend. The place is always packed. Everyone seems to love this place.

Ordered potato salad, Greek salad, and 4 chicken wings. The Greek salad was the best thing we got, however I think the cooks / chefs back there could use some knife work, or use a mandolin or a slicing machine if you can’t have consistency through your workers. It was decent but cucumber bits were cut wayy too big and tomato finely diced which is too small. I’d say a bit over the top on the feta but hey that’s just a personal preference. The wings were decent. However even the wings only 4 flavors were available (buffalo,old/bay, plain, bbq). In my opinion this is not enough variety and just screams white suburbia who forgot what real seasonings tastes like and lives vicariously through Sysco pre-made sauces. On to the potato salad. Whoever made this potato salad was either incredibly lazy that day or has never made potato salad in their entire life. I found clumps and clumps of egg yolk not being incorporated into the salad properly, and to top it all off, and entire whole potato was in the salad. It was hands down the worst potato salad I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m genuinely shocked and surprised at how comically bad this was. Especially for the fact that this is a majority white suburban neighborhood, you’d think they would have upheld some sort of standards for potato salad. Cole slaw and potato salad is the pinnacle of white cuisine. If you mess that up?? No green bean casserole for you. Overall, the vibes of the restaurant was fine, workers nice. This restaurant has tons of potential but they need to 1. Actually fix the potato salad because what the hell is that? 2. Have recipe consistency (ensuring cooks are measuring and using proper cuts of foods and following recipe etc) 3. Actually have seasonings available besides bbq old bay and buffalo. Like come on people let’s get some sort of creativity. Even a basic hot honey or something my god. Also heads up clean the kitchen up a little bit, at least the parts that are able to be seen from the lobby when customers are waiting. Workers going in and out, you can visibly see the kitchen. I work in food service myself and usually wouldn’t care but the kitchen could definitely use a clean.

The Maryland crab soup and crab cake sandwich was fresh and top notch. Definitely worth the stop.

We were driving through the area and found this hidden gem. The reviews were great so we decided to stop and we were not disappointed. The prices are excellent!!! The quality of food and service is top notch! This place is fantastic. Definitely go! We met a couple who frequent the establishment a lot and have lived all over the country and they said this is by far the best seafood they have had from Florida to Maines!

Food was fantastic and very filling. Food is alittle pricy if its more than one but we'll worth every penny in my opinion. Also the food did take a bit to come out as well but again you cant rush perfection. There is parking in the back for those who are unsure. Great group of people working there and from about a half hour out, it was worth the trip. Most definitely recommend to people.
