⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yesterday, Mackenzie and I discovered The Main Cup in Middletown, and it has officially become one of my new favorite little restaurants! The food was amazing, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was so charming and welcoming. The entire town of Middletown was absolutely adorable, and I already cannot wait to go back and explore more. My only apology is that I didn’t take a single picture of the food—I was so busy enjoying every bite that I completely forgot! 😂 I suppose that is the best compliment I could possibly give. Outstanding Food, Top-Notch Service, and Perfect for Mixed Dietary Needs Stopped in here for dinner and could not be more impressed. If you're looking for fantastic, scratch-made food without the corporate chain feel, The Main Cup delivers on every front. We ordered the Cream of Crab Soup and the Veggie & Shroom Risotto. The cream of crab was pure Maryland perfection—rich, velvety, seasoned just right, and loaded with sweet crab meat rather than just thick filler. Absolute standout. Finding a place that nails authentic local seafood while offering genuine, high-quality, unfried vegetarian options for health-conscious eaters is rare, but the mushroom and vegetable risotto was exceptional. The Arborio rice had the exact right bite, packed with fresh sautéed mushrooms, crisp-tender vegetables, and balanced flavors without feeling heavy or greasy. On top of the food, rylee's customer service was fast, friendly, and attentive from the moment we walked in. Great historic atmosphere, fair pricing for the quality you get, and a kitchen that clearly takes pride in what goes on the plate. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

This gem of a restaurant is 5+ stars! Take it for me. I’m a foodie if you like GREAT food and a wonderful atmosphere with fantastic staff do not miss the main cup in Middletown. Make sure that you try the crème brûlée and The flourless cake for dessert absolutely stunning My wife and I ate for lunch and were more than impressed with the quality of food and gluten-free options! Middle of the day and the Chef was banging out the best meals that we’ve had lately! Thank you Laney for outstanding service!

Food was average at best. My Reuben meat was chopped not sliced, very chewy. Wife's hamburger was average, cream of crab ok.
