So amazing! Walked in early morning with a bad alternator. Had my car delivered to me at work before my lunch break. Actuall wizards! And such great people! Will be returning for routine maintenance

They are friendly, polite, honest, and go the extra step for good service. I highly recommend Wizards! It's nice to find Auto repair you can trust.

If you ever need anything done on your car Noah is the man! Took care of me on prices and labor not too many honest guys in this industry.

BJ towed my car when I needed it most and it seemed like NOBODY else was even willing to do so. I was literally stuck in the middle of a huge park in the middle of the night. I was genuinely concerned about my safety, but BJ saved the day! Not only did he show up in my time of need, but he provided absolutely exceptional service. He arrived quickly, was very friendly, professional, and well educated. He went above and beyond what he needed to, and was even willing to make sure my car got towed and to the RIGHT location in a timely manor. I’ve had my car towed a few times before, and nobody else seemed to even have a clue as to what they were doing, nor did they even seem like they really even cared. I quite literally have had my car towed to the wrong location with another driver (not of this company) who didn’t verify the location with me to ensure that it was correct, which didn’t even seem like it would be possible until it happened. BJ triple checked with me to make sure that my car was brought to the right destination. He even noticed that I was kinda freaked out after sitting in a park for several hours alone in the dark with a broken car, and offered me a fresh unopened bottle of water that he had which really helped calm my nerves. Additionally, my car was parked in my driveway that was a pretty tight squeeze and absolutely nothing was damaged. Overall, he is an excellent, very dedicated worker, and an even better person. If you’re asking me, he truly truly truly went above and beyond his pay. I actually wouldn’t recommend another driver or company, and if anything like this were to happen again I will definitely be asking for him. I will also be referring him and this company to my friends and family, and even strangers in need, because the service was so incredible. He truly could’ve left me alone in that park at 2am even though he was supposed to be done for the night, like several other drivers had done that night already, left me stranded that night, but he valued human lives, and doing a great job representing him and this company unlike any other tow truck companies have. If you need a tow call and ask for him! Y’all should give him a raise literally just for this!!! Thank you again!! I’m happy to be home safe!

I was towed last night from near the intersection of Cliff Road and Cliff Lake Road in Eagan and Wizard Recovery did an amazing job start to finish!! They were assigned the call after another towing company canceled! They showed up before the estimate of the first company and were professional and kind throughout! I can’t remember the drivers names but he helped talk me through the issue with the car and even gave me fishing spot advice!! On a terrible day like mine having an amazing person make things easier is nothing short of a blessing!! Thanks and would 10/10 recommend!

The towing service I received was the worst. My rental company sent a tow truck, but they were the service provider. They wouldn’t answer their phone and claimed to be 30 minutes away from my location, but they never arrived. Never Go here and Daniel Daml you are not good

Great experience, very friendly guys, I've been looking for a good mechanic I could afford for a couple years and I'll definitely go to this mechanic again. They did the work quickly and their prices weren't crazy expensive like some local places. As a woman I never really know going into mechanics alone if I'll be treated well, and I would definitely recommend this place to friends

I first found Wizards when I needed my brakes done, and their prices were much more reasonable than other shops I checked. Andy was fast, professional, and helpful. When my engine went out, I knew I had to go back to him. He communicated with me throughout the entire process and kept me updated. It took about a week to get my car back since it required more work than expected, but they even offer payment plans, which was a huge relief. This has honestly been the best auto experience I’ve had. Highly recommend Andy and Wizards!

On Sunday 8/2, my husband’s Jeep entered limp mode in Forest Lake (electronic throttle body issue) and was towed to Wizards. On Monday 8/3, the shop confirmed the issue. They quoted $750 ($150/hr for a 4-hour book job plus the part) and claimed the part was in their network for same-day completion. My husband had to call at 3:30 PM for an update, only to learn they did not get the part, forcing him to book a hotel.On Tuesday 8/4, after no updates by 2 PM, my husband reached out. An employee claimed the part was in St. Cloud, guaranteed same-day completion, and said he was driving to get it. At 8:30 PM, my husband walked by the shop. The gates were open and lights were on, but the shop was completely abandoned and unlocked. My husband had to secure their entrance door himself and find another hotel late at night. No one responded to his calls/texts. I texted and received a response claiming the part arrived late, they completed "most of the repair," and would finish early Wednesday. However, when my husband arrived Wednesday morning, staff contradicted this and stated they had just received the part that morning.On Wednesday 8/5, the repair was completed at 4:48 PM. At the counter, they attempted to charge us $2,100, stating their “book was wrong and it was an 8-hour job.” (The max book time for this repair, including relearn, is 4 hours, which we confirmed with two independent mechanics). The employee could not itemize the part cost or explain the extra $1,350 charge. When we refused to pay, the worker dropped the price to $1,200, and finally back to the original $750 plus tax when we still did not agree. We were advised the tax rate was 10%, adding $75 to the $750. Labor is not taxable in MN, only parts, making this calculation incorrect. The employee then stated he only asked for $2,100 to “show his boss on camera that he tried to get full price.”ETA 8/6: The owner, Moe, reached out the day after this review was posted and provided an internal invoice screenshot. This document indicated an additional part was needed that was never communicated to us ($106 for a gasket). Still, it did not match what we were quoted, nor the $2,100 they tried to charge. The shop rate on this invoice was listed at $192.50/hr, well above the $150 quoted. Part numbers were not provided; the invoice reflected OEM parts via O’Reilly, though that distributor does not carry OEM throttle bodies for Jeep. The internal invoice reflected 4 hours for removal/replacement, 0.7 hours for relearn, 0.7 hours for intake install, and 1.8 hours for diagnostics, totaling $1,804.86 (42% higher than the original quote).Be aware that this shop demonstrated a severe lack of price transparency, misrepresentation of fees, and poor communication. Get a written estimate before authorizing work.After this review Andy reached out begging to remove this review. WE did not reach out asking for money for removal (but full transparency, did respond to his outreach saying it’d be considered if they reimbursed the hotel costs of $350🤷🏻‍♀️).ETA 8/28: We have been dealing with a turbo coolant leak since the day we returned home (the tank was totally dry upon arriving home) and discovered a large split in the coolant hose. Our regular, TRUSTWORTHY, shop believes this directly correlates to their work on the throttle body. Updated to reflect final outcome of our full experience.Good day!

Was amazing Let me do a down payment of 1000$ and a payment plan for the rest of the balance and they have been very patient with me, have allowed me to do small payments at a time and I am very grateful for it !! I would highly recommend especially if times are hard for you and they did really great work on my car because the mechanic I went to before them ruined my car and wizards did a great job fixing what the other mechanic ruined !!

Customers beware! This was, without question, one of the most bizarre business experiences I've ever had. Need to speak with the CEO? Apparently he's always "out of town." Don't worry, though—his "cousin" or "brother" will gladly step in to help. Coincidentally, that person looks exactly like the individual featured in the company's videos and listed online as the CEO. Draw your own conclusions. As for the towing side of the business, proceed with extreme caution. After a very unfortunate incident involving one of their tow trucks, I was told the tow truck involved wasn't insured because the company was in a "transition period." Again, draw your own conclusions. Oh and furthermore, we were told by the owner - or should I say the owners "cousin" - that the driver involved in the tow truck incident was fired. That was a flat out lie. It has been observed on multiple occasions and by multiple individuals that the driver absolutely DOES still work for Wizards....mind blowing. St. Paul DSI and the St. Paul Police Department are aware and the matter is being investigated. I would advise any and all of you to go literally anywhere else. Also, fairly certain for every 1 star review they get, they go in and leave their own 5 star review. Its interesting, if you look at the profiles of a lot of the 5 star reviews, you will notice that the ONLY review those "people" have left are for Wizards. But, as has been the theme with my review, I will let you draw your own conclusions.

After reading recent reviews, I feel like I need to share my horrible and odd experience with Mo and Wizards. About a year ago I brought my car to Wizards for a repair because it was close to my house. My car sat for there for a long time without any work being done on it. Sometimes I would see it parked in different spots around the neighborhood (they overfill their lot then hide the overflow vehicles on different blocks). I would text them for updates and wouldn’t hear back. Finally when I put pressure on them they worked on it. Two days later it overheated. I took it to another mechanic and that mechanic was confused on what Wizards actual did. Not only that, Mo charged me waaaaaay more than discussed. Mo discouraged me to pay with a card, instead they asked for cash or Venmo. It was like they didn’t want a paper trail. I asked for an itemized list of work and parts, what they gave me weeks later seemed fake. Specifically Mo (the owner) was horrible with communication and honestly by the end of it I didn’t trust a word he said. I wanted to share my story so others don’t have to go through what I went through. Also, there’s a comment below about city violations, it’s true and when I drive by there not much has changed. Cars blocking sidewalks. Their vehicles parked where they are not supposed to be, sometimes blocking alleyways. It’s a train wreck. I’m pretty sure Mo makes fake accounts and gives 5 star reviews after he gets a 1 star. It’s so obvious it’s almost comical.

THIS is where you need to take your car to get fixed in St. Paul! The guys in this shop will always work with you on price but will NEVER compromise on the quality of work done. I thought my Honda was dead and buried but these guys put in the extra effort to bring it back to life! They really are wizards it’s not just a clever name
