Honestly, this place is not anything special. The burger was just a below-average smash burger and didn’t really stand out from what you can get at plenty of other places. They advertise their fries as being cooked in beef tallow, but honestly, they tasted pretty much like regular McDonald’s fries. The beef tallow didn’t seem to make any noticeable difference besides being something to put on the menu. The pricing is also frustrating. They don’t really offer meal combos, and a double burger combo is around $20, which feels overpriced for what you’re getting. On top of that, charging an extra $0.50 just to add basic toppings like lettuce and tomato is ridiculous. Overall, nothing about the burger or fries justified the price for me. I expected something more unique based on the hype, but it ended up tasting like an average or below-average smash burger with overpriced fries.

Love this place. I especially like their BBQ Jalapeño Smash Burger. I like that their ingredients are fresh and that they cook their fries in beef tallow.

Okay, the 'smashed' burger patty was likely the best I have ever tasted. The char flavor and perfect crunch made up for the smaller size sandwich. $7.99 seems high but the rare flavor of the burger overall might justify the price. My sons and I agreed the fries are McDonald's like. That's a fair description, but there is definitely more depth of flavor than any French fry offering from any chain I've experienced. So, good on TrueCraft.

Good quality. Jalapeños are a nice option. It’d be nice if they offered drinks besides soda, like milkshakes.

Love the concept, but the execution not so much. Ordered 2 Double smash burger, and yet they both still had more bun than burger. I recommend requesting that they toast the gf bun as it was really soggy and mushy. The taste of the burger was pretty decent, but Fresno has multiple burger places in the same area that offer a much better meal for a fraction of the price. Once they work out their kinks, might consider coming back.

Location is great. That’s close to a nice neighborhood and a Starbucks. The food is good however the portion of a burger is small. I’d say if you treat it like an after meal snack the size is good, but if you are here for a meal, you’d want to order two burgers for per person.

Everything about this place is amazing! Healthy! Made in Beef Tallow and not all those oils. Simple menu. The owner is awesome too. Our go too burger spot!

Very clean kitchen , well prepared food and friendly service

Decided to treat my family (5 people, $100) to dinner here after seeing social media posts about their smashburgers and beef tallow fries—very disappointed by our customer service experience. The cashier seemed like he either didn't want us there or didn't want to be there himself. I asked how much protein was in each patty, was told to do the math on 3oz patties. I asked what was in the craft sauce, was told that there were special ingredients (not whether or not it was spicy, or if it had ingredients that were potential allergens). I felt dismissed throughout the interaction and considered leaving before fully sharing our order. Burgers were lukewarm at best, fries kept their heat—could taste the tallow. We won't be back.

First time here and the presentation of the restaurant was an eye opener. The employees were friendly with great customer service satisfaction. The food was great. The burger was definitely better than In-N-Out's burger in my opinion and I'm a fan of their burgers. The fries weren't bad either. Better than most fries. I would definitely recommend for other people to give it a try.

I have never had a hamburger and fries that made me feel full and content without feeling bloated crappy and tired expect here I feel great and the food was amazing 10/10 recommend

The smash burger is solid. Love they use natural ingredients. For their fries they use beef tallow which, besides being healthier than vegetable oils, it gives the fries an excellent flavor. I wish they add a smash burger with caramelized onions.

This place is so good! We've gone several times, and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious, and comes out so quickly! The truffle fries are totally worth it, and the classic smash burger is absolutely delicious.
