I can’t recommend them enough! They do an amazing job every single time. They’re quick, kind, incredibly thorough, and our house always feels wonderful when they’re finished. What means even more to me is how thoughtful they are with my son, who is autistic. They’ve taken the time to understand that changes to his environment can be difficult for him, and they go out of their way to clean and organize his spaces in a way that respects his routines and keeps things familiar for him. That kind of care and attention goes far beyond simply cleaning a home, and it means so much to our family. Truly wonderful people who do wonderful work. I’m so grateful we found them!

After 20+ years of shepherding home cleaning services by a single service provider, my wife and I determined that we needed extra detailed cleaning capacity that our current provider was unable to fulfill. CONTEXT: Our home is greater than 6000 square feet with three floors that include 4 bedrooms, a broad second floor landing, a mixture of floorings that include carpet, wood and tile, 4.5 bathrooms, a business home office, a finished basement with a custom-built theater room, segmented exercise room, game (pool table) area, a full bathroom and a TV/Music lounge area. THE PLAN: The first phase of cleaning we agreed to was TPCC’s deep clean option. We collectively rated our house between 5-6 out of a possible 10 for level of observed cleanliness. We agreed that a deep clean as a first step would set a baseline expectation to measure and monitor observed cleanliness progress going forward. A hurdle in this plan was that we needed the deep clean to happen within the same week, as we were expecting guests to be staying with us for a week and wanted the house to be cleaned in preparation for that event. James assessed his resource capability, capacity and availability to respond to our challenge and provided confirmation within 24 hours of the team that would be available to clean our entire house and the day(s) they could be booked to perform this service. This was music to our ears as our current provider notified us earlier of an emergency that took her out of state for most of the month with no backup plan. THE TEAM: We were quickly introduced to Sophie, Ariel, Andrew and Lizzie as the assigned stewards of our deep clean desired outcome. Everyone on this team earned their presence in our home. They were enthusiastic, detail oriented, articulate and knowledgeable about the tasks at hand, not afraid to actively seek possibilities for the best cleaning outcomes real-time and they had stamina, which was critical for the complexity of this assignment. The team quickly concluded that the deep clean would require more diligence than originally anticipated to “move the needle” and responded with effort nothing short of remarkable. To that end they recommended coming back the next day to get to the areas that would really make a difference and that could not be finished on day one – at no additional cost. The collective spirit of this team was about fulfilling their commitment to finish the job. THE RESULT: At the end of day two, the job was complete – thorough, detailed, visibly and fragrantly different. During our collective conclusion and feedback summary I asked them to individually express the individual cleaning achievements in my house they were most proud of and to a person they mentioned some of the most complicated areas in our house and areas where the design and arrangement of our home layout required dedicated (painstaking) time and effort. Again, the effort was nothing short of remarkable and the results moved my cleanliness observation from 5-6 to a 9. The 9 rating was how they moved the needle from what they inherited. Achieving a “10” service delivery and results rating from me will require consistent and sustained application of their cleaning practices over sufficient time. I shared with the group that a one-time, exemplary effort and outcome needs to be validated for reliability. THE SERVICE IMPACT: In conclusion, I’m thrilled with the results to date. The conditions the team absorbed challenged them and they “walked their talk.” James and I were attached at the hip in communication and assessment dialogue, we intentionally contracted altered directions real-time to keep things moving practically, which contributed to a great first-time cleaning experience. The team members were in “flow mode” all along the way and were both insightful and delightful. You can’t beat this with a stick! We are now shaping regular cleaning schedules every two weeks to keep maintenance of our home current with reliable and flexible resources. Onward!!!

I found The Preferred Cleaning Company after using another company for several years and got frustrated at how they rushed through my house every time, breaking things several times without letting me know. So I reached out to James when looking for a new company and he was fantastic! He walked through my house to make sure he understood my expectations for each area. When the crew comes, they are polite, do a good job cleaning and are very gentle with my house. I no longer stress over the cleaners coming. Highly recommend!

We have been using Preferred Cleaning for 5+ months. Before this, we used the same cleaning company for 15 years, so, making a switch for us was somewhat unsettling. James, the owner, personally came out to our home and spent quite a bit of time walking through our house and taking detailed notes about what we would expect with each biweekly cleaning. He tries to use the same team at each home for consistency. However, when a new team member is present for cross training, the process has always gone very smoothly. We have found the team to be incredibly reliable, efficient, professional, friendly and detail oriented. James‘ communication skills are wonderful! He follows up each cleaning with a text to make sure we are happy with the job that was done and he is always amenable to me adding other areas that I feel need cleaned, to the list. Obviously, that may or may not change the cost of the service depending on the extent of the work I asked to be added. Preferred Cleaning’s prices are consistent with what we have paid in the past and of current market values. We simply could not be more pleased with the decision we made to go with this company!!

We’ve been very happy with the Preferred Cleaning Co. A few small areas were missed on the first visit, but when I reached out, they responded quickly and came back right away to make it right. They’ve cleaned our home four times now, and we haven’t had any issues since. Every cleaner we’ve met has been friendly and taken the time to introduce themselves. Communication is easy by text or phone, and the owner consistently follows up after each cleaning. Their pricing is competitive, and having more time to spend with my family on the weekends instead of cleaning is truly priceless.
