Became very rude, aggressive and snide when trying to ask for estimates on specific work I wanted to have done on my car after doing some of my own diagnostics. Wants to charge $100 to do his own diagnostics before giving transparent labor costs. Even atomic auto only charges 89, at least that's what i remember paying. Seems high pressure and relying on taking advantage of people who don't know anything about their car. Edit: also wanted to mention that once he actually gave me an estimate on the thing I was asking for (cleaning egr manifold) which should really only take a couple of labor hours at $1800. Ridiculous.

Omar was very personable and friendly, easy to talk to. Unfortunately that's where it ended. He charged us $585 to replace only the drivers side rear caliper, which costs $135, for our 2015 Dodge Caravan. A year and a week ago we had the same rear brakes and calipers replaced for just over $700 (one year warranty of course, a week past that). I definitely felt taken advantage of.

I have been bringing my car to Omar for over a year now. I love cars and I always research what is going on with mine before I bring it in to resolve an issue. I also used to live across town and went to a different mechanic, and they diagnosed an issue but since I was moving, I did not let them fix it. I brought it to Omar who is closer to my new home and without me saying what the other mechanic said, Omar had the same diagnosis. So, that is one reason why I trust Omar and his team. Also, every time I bring it in, the problem is resolved and the prices are similar to online price estimates, so I know he is fair. Also, thank you for the hot tea on a cold winter morning when I brought my car in for a new timing chain. :)

My wife was was in Portland and got transmission issues. Honda dealerships told us to wait 4 days for a diagnosis. Omar told us to come right in. We got it towed to the shop just before closing and he ran a few diagnostics, which he didnt charge us for, and suggested a transmission fluid replacement. He got our car turned around the next morning with the issue resolved. He was a great help in a stressful situation, much more affordable than a dealership and much more responsive.

Omar is truly one of the sweetest and most honest people I’ve met! He provided excellent service at a fair price and communicated everything clearly throughout the process. I really appreciate his honesty and professionalism. I highly recommend Omar Auto Repair to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service!

Extremely disappointed with the car service at OMAR AUTO REPAIR LLC. I brought my vehicle in to fix a specific issue, but not only did they fail to resolve the problem, the car came back running worse than before. They clearly lacked the diagnostic skills needed for the job and just guessed at what was wrong. Save your time and money, and take your vehicle to a mechanic who actually knows what they are doing. Unprofessional and a waste of money

Omar and his staff are excellent! They provide a great service and he is extremely transparent and reasonable with his pricing. The work he did on my car was quick and of high quality. I will highly recommend taking your car to Omar’s shop. I assure you that you will be greeted Omar himself who is extremely friendly and warm. Will definitely back! Thank you Omar!

Our group had an emergency on burnt brakes. Omar did the service the same day we came in a few hours. Excellent service.

Amazing service. Both last year and this year. Gets you in fast, finds problem, no BS, shows you the problem, fair prices for parts and labor, has your safety as his best interest and efficient work so you're back on the road. Definitely returning.

I wish I could give Omar and Mane a higher rating- they are incredible people and I can not recommend them enough. I bought a very used car (it has been in an accident) and brought it in for an inspection. They explained and physically showed me everything wrong with the car, teaching me what the part does and how it should look like. They answered every question I had and were so transparent about what I needed to have fixed right away vs. down the line. As a woman in her 20s who moved here without family, I really felt so supported by them. They made this car buying experience so much better than I could have imagined, on top of the actual repair and price being top notch. I will forever be going here and you should too.

Omars awesome mechanic Mane did a PreSale Vehicle Inspection...they found a few things. Bought the vehicle and brought back the next day and Omar himself did the repairs...on a Saturday too. Very reasonable prices, good work, and honesty. Ive found my permanent mechanic. Shout out to Omar and Mane. Thanks guys!
