I was in search of a Jeep Wrangler 4xe. I saw one on the website, made an appointment to see and test drive. I worked with Nino and he was great. It was my first time buying a car, and he helped me compare all my options and get the best deal. I feel like he really had my best interest in mind and wasn’t just trying to get my money. Highly recommend working with Nino if you go here!!

I had the best car shopping experience at this location. Matthew Pettis instantly greeted my family and I as soon as we stepped on the parking lot. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patience throughout the whole experience. I appreciated his attention to details and commitment to customer satisfaction. He worked closely with Lou and uncle Lou to secure a great price that fit my budget. I can’t recommend them enough.

If you value your time, money, and basic respect, I strongly recommend buying your vehicle somewhere else. I purchased a used 2023 Audi e-tron from Elmhurst Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, working with Matt Pettis. I came in ready to buy, not play games, and there was very little flexibility throughout the process. I bought the car because I liked the vehicle, but the way I was treated before and especially after the sale destroyed any trust I had in this dealership. The biggest issue involved the charging equipment. Before the sale, there was already concern about the charger that was supposed to come with the vehicle. The dealership eventually supplied me with a charger, but it was a VOLVO charger for an Audi. I specifically questioned this. Instead of simply saying, “This is Volvo-branded but electrically compatible,” I was told that Volvo was Audi’s parent company. That is false. Audi is part of Volkswagen Group; Volvo Cars is owned by Geely. That is not a small detail when you are spending tens of thousands of dollars and relying on the people selling the vehicle to give you accurate information. If someone confidently gives you information that is plainly wrong to justify the equipment they are handing you, what else are you supposed to trust? After I discovered the problem and asked the dealership to make it right, things got worse. Instead of supplying the correct Audi equipment or reaching a reasonable resolution, I was presented with used/eBay charging-equipment options. I then had to research what equipment belonged with the car, which cable revisions were current, and what Audi charging equipment was affected by recalls or service campaigns. I ultimately took the vehicle to Audi Westmont and paid for my own inspection. Audi checked the car, tested the high-voltage battery system, reviewed the applicable campaigns, and completed the 93PG high-voltage battery switching-unit software update. The separate Audi charging-system campaign could not simply be completed using the Volvo equipment because it was not the applicable Audi charging system. Then came the part that ended any remaining respect I had for this dealership. When I continued asking for the charging-equipment issue to be corrected, a manager called me. Instead of handling the problem professionally, the conversation became aggressive, vulgar, and unnecessarily confrontational. When I said I would come to the dealership to discuss the matter in person, that was characterized as a threat. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable returning to deal with management face-to-face. Think about that: I bought the vehicle, questioned equipment they supplied, discovered I had been given false information about it, asked them to correct the issue, and somehow I became the problem. The car itself is good. This is not buyer’s remorse. It is about the dealership experience. What bothers me most is not that a mistake happened. Mistakes happen. It is the combination of incorrect equipment, false information, resistance to making it right, and disrespectful management behavior afterward. If you absolutely have to buy a car from this lot, protect yourself. Get an independent pre-purchase inspection. Verify every accessory and part that is supposed to come with the vehicle. Check recalls and service campaigns yourself. Get every promise in writing. I would also strongly consider arranging financing through your own bank or credit union. I should not have had to become my own service advisor, parts researcher, recall researcher, and fact-checker immediately after buying a vehicle from a professional dealership. I would not buy another vehicle from Elmhurst Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and I would not recommend them to friends or family. There are too many dealerships in Chicagoland competing for your money to tolerate this level of conduct. Take your money somewhere else.

If you need a new or used car, go to this dealership. Escar, the Sales Consultant, greeted me at the front door and had me test driving a used car I researched online in about 15 minutes. No sales pitch, no pressure. After deciding to purchase a vehicle that was within by budget, there was no haggling or hidden fees. The Finance Manager, RJ, walked me through the purchasing process in great detail and offered helpful suggestions regarding payment and warranty options. Overall, an outstanding experience. Zeigler in Downers Grove is highly recommended.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership. We were initially given one price, and once we showed serious interest in purchasing the vehicle, the numbers changed significantly. Buying a vehicle is a major purchase, and customers deserve clear, upfront, and consistent pricing. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and we left without purchasing the vehicle.
