Worst experience ever. As a woman in a desperate situation, I was completely taken advantage of by this shop. They failed to perform a proper diagnosis and charged me $500 to replace a radiator—only for my car to still not work. They rushed me out the door without even testing the vehicle. They don't care about the customers. I'm happy I had a friend with me or else I'd still be on side of the road right now. Against my better judgment I trusted them to fix the issues. ​A mechanic friend actually had to step in, explain how to remove the radiator before causing even more damage since they already purchased it for $200, he had show them how to diagnose the issue properly—and they even burned him in their rush. To make matters worse, my AC condenser was damaged during the process, and when we asked them to stop work, the owner insisted I pay for a part I never needed. ​Now I’m out $500, still have no working car, have to miss a day of work, and need to pay a real professional to fix their mistakes. Ladies, please do not bring your car here alone. Stick to reputable, professional mechanics—these guys should stick to basic tires and alignments.

I had a very disappointing experience and would not recommend this shop. First, the facility itself was dirty and poorly maintained. The waiting area didn’t even have working air conditioning, making the wait very uncomfortable. I brought my truck in because it had multiple electrical issues, including several warning lights on the dashboard and an A/C problem. After waiting for a long time, I was told the issue was simply the A/C control knob and that replacing it for around $600 would solve the problem. I specifically explained that I believed it was an electrical issue affecting multiple systems, but my concerns were dismissed. The next day, they admitted that the diagnosis was incorrect. The replacement did not fix the problem. The A/C now only blows through the defroster vents instead of the front vents, making it almost unusable in the Texas heat and causing the windshield to fog up in the mornings. To make matters worse, I was still charged for the repair even though it did not resolve the issue. They also replaced an original factory part that apparently didn’t need to be replaced, and when I picked up my truck, I noticed they had damaged the dashboard trim by breaking the plastic retaining clips, leaving it loose and misaligned. Overall, this was an expensive misdiagnosis, poor workmanship, and a complete lack of professionalism. I regret bringing my truck here and would not trust this shop with my vehicle again.

I went today to get my car repaired after I've tried another mechanic to no avail, I must admit that the owner here is trustworthy and not just after money, he is a true mechanic that loves what he does and really cares about the customer. 5stars for sure

Had a great experience here. My car sits really low and a few other shops said they couldn’t lift it to do an alignment. These guys figured it out and got the job done with no issues. Really thankful for their help and would definitely recommend them.

Buckner Auto Repair is the best! They always take my car in on short notice and are completely honest about what actually needs to be fixed. At first, I was nervous because a lot of mechanics tend to take advantage of women, but these guys are genuinely trustworthy. They’re straightforward, do excellent work, and never try to push unnecessary repairs. I really appreciate how professional and dependable they are—definitely my go-to shop!

Matt and Hussein are the best. I ALWAYS come to this mechanic shop and Matt and Hussein always take care of me. I’ve had my engine replaced here, oil changes, etc. never failed me and they are very fast and efficient!

I believe I was overcharged for an oil leak. He Said the oil pressure switch was causing my oil leak and he charged me $90 for that whenever I can go to AutoZone and get it for $15 Then he charged me $80 for a oil change Then he charge charged me $120 for a diagnostics fee you Then he charged me $131 for Labor I believe I was overcharged about $100. Definitely will not recommend this place to anybody. Never will I be back
