Most of the food is expired, I went with my family and bought candy and some other groceries. We went home and wanted to eat some candy and there was worm bites in some of the candies. Please close this store because this is a big health hazard! Stop buying from this store people.

I bought lavash and found mold on it.

Rude staff. I was stopped there first time with my family to buy some halal sausage that we usually buy in Beryozka in Roseville and when we asked for help one of the cashiers rudely said dont even try to find halal sausage we don’t have any. Ok that was my first and last visit, thankfully we have Beryozka smaller but friendlier store and have more fresh produce.

No organization or order inside this store. Stood in line to get some meat products, people were cutting the line and going to other registers right in front of you. Store employees didnt pay attention to who was in line first. Also this store is a lot more expensive than other Russian stores in the area. Not coming back again to this location. Employees need to be trained on customer service.

Exciting, very interesting. Wide assortment of home made cakes and sweets. A very unique inventory. Real smoked bacon not chemically smoked as usual.

I want to warn others about a serious issue at this store. There are a lot of products on the shelves that are already past their expiration date. The difference is that for most items, you can at least check the date yourself before buying. However, it’s a completely different situation with cheese and meat products behind the counter. You don’t get a chance to see the packaging or expiration date in advance, and the staff pack everything into bags for you. Because of that, you only discover the problem at home, after unpacking — and by then it’s too late. This has happened to me multiple times, and it’s very concerning. Selling expired food, especially meat and dairy, is unacceptable. Please be careful and double-check everything you can before leaving the store. And if you’re buying from behind the counter, be extra cautious — you might not be getting fresh products. I really hope the store takes responsibility and improves their quality control.

My #1 go-to Eastern European food market! I've been shopping here since around 2000–2002, when we moved to CH. Even though I live nearby and we’ve had other similar stores in the area (and still have one big European supermarket close by), this is the place me, my family, and most of my friends choose. They offer a great selection of foods from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Poland, and the Baltic countries—some imported, others made in the US or Canada. You can sample many items before you buy, which is a huge plus comparedto many other similar stores! The recent renovation and expansion made it even better—more variety and some amazing pirozhki now too! Only thing I wish they had is a little food court or café area, but everything else is top-notch - Add-on, as of March 2026 they do have own café Maria across the street! A++++, 5 stars, 100%! The owner and the staff are always super friendly, nice and helpful. P. S. Below is 📸 of what we can get here, either to prepare some Slavic dishes or already ready to eat
