Used Dexter express washing machines all over the state. A wash cycle is 30mins on these machines. For some reason these are programmed for half (15mins). Doesn’t seem like a very thorough wash in comparison.

I have never had a problem with them messing up my clothes. They always get the stains out and everything smells clean. I just wish they had more change machines.

Very clean. Huge washers right up front so l could easily wash wife's comforter. It's expensive but forget quarters, they use the DexterPay app. Convenient and provides a timer so you can shop or eat at restaurants nearby.

I love this new app that Chico Express has. Instead of using change it’s all straight through an app. Thank you for making my life easier.

Clean, new machines and the Dexter app works very well. Owner is attentive to keeping up on maintenance and overall housekeeping. Parking can get a little tight during busy hours but there are always spots open within just a few steps from the front door. 120, 60 and 30 lbs washing machines,

The person who works in there is very nice keeps the washers and dryers very clean

As usual the place was spotless and the only machine that was down was clearly marked. I was really sad that there is no longer a fluff and fold service!! The name of the place still says "full service" so I was disappointed. The attendant is amazing. Helped me with the app on my phone which was super nice and is the only reason I'm giving 5 stars after being bummed about no more "full service." Please bring back fluff & fold!

Went to location 2 days in a row Friday afternoon and Saturday for drop off service and NO attendant 👎🏻

This place is great for the most part. The attendant, Little, is very helpful and keeps the place SUPER clean. I'd give this place 5 stars but there's no fluff and fold even though there's an attendant here all the time. The convenience option would really make my week when I need to do laundry and I'm wiped out from work.

Aug 3, 2025: I only give them 3 stars because some of their machines are broke down. The place is clean, and they have plenty of machines, however, it's one of the more expensive laundromats in town, and they no longer offer fluff and fold services. The unpleasantries, the last time I was their, it appeared there were transients hanging out, staying out of the heat of the day and having a cool place to sit, because the place is air conditioned.

However, the discontinuation of the Fluff and Fold service has been a source of disappointment for regular customers. While the overall experience is satisfactory, it can feel somewhat unprofessional at times, as many patrons prefer to complete their laundry quickly and leave rather than linger. Despite these concerns, the establishment remains a preferred option for its cleanliness and affordability, making it a top choice for those seeking efficient laundry solutions.

Took my comforter and pillows here to use the big machines. I don't frequent laundry mats since I have my own washer/dryer but since they were bulky things, figured this would be easier...I was nervous going but walked in to a ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS place. The machines are shiny and new, place was extremely inviting, and was really well kept up. The owner was there and super nice and helped me figure out how to wash my stuff. The employee, Little(I believe), helped me fold my comforter and wrapped it up for me to transport back home. I would absolutely come back. The machines up front take up to 10 loads of laundry!! Will save me so much time, it's a dream! Plus they use an app to pay which was convenient to keep track and pay etc. :)

I was in Chico for the week and needed to wash some clothes and I stumbled upon this gem. New machines and very clean! It’s super close to campus and there’s tacos right next door. I got to meet the owner, Samuel, and he was a catch! Great person with a keen eye to keep the laundry mat running smooth. Definitely would make this my go to place if I lived in Chico.

New owner and totally redone with new machines. Variety of sizes of front loaders, dryers work great, coin or Dexterpay app, good AC, attendant onsite and super clean! I don’t much like doing laundry but this was a nice place to do it. Highly recommend!

I love chico laundry express they did everything I asked them to do and even used the laundry soap that I wasn't allergic to ,they treated my close as if they were their own babies so delicately and they even folded them just the way I like my clothes and towels folded no questions asked ,they even separated them the way I asked and I got every single thing back no damages or anything I will be using them from now on
