I lived on Puget Sound in DuPont for a few years, and it was amazing. The sneaker waves were especially fun.

Of course I'm slightly bias because I was born and raised here. But the Puget sound offers more than most places in our whole country. The list of things to see and do is so long this review would take me ALL day if I gave them all highlights. Catch a ferry, discover quite beaches, hike islands. The surrounding forest and Mts. Give way for absolutely breathtaking views and heart stopping moments. The RICH history is everywhere if you like Museums for local history the vast amount found throughout the islands and coast line seems endless. Maybe make a list of light houses and start checking them off for family day trips? Or military history of the area is also rich and deeply runs through the pudget sound. From old bunkers and underground pathways to meander, gunnery stations long abandoned. Old military installations ( housing ) you can actually rent out and stay in the buildings. All in all, with a little research of the area and things you may be interested in, it holds so much in value if memories are what your after. The beauty up and down the whole of the Puget Sound is to much to put in a review.
