I took my 2013 Toyota Tundra to Modern Rust for an extensive frame and truck bed rust restoration. From the beginning, Bruno was personable, professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the work that needed to be done and why, providing video and pictures of the damage. Although the job ended up requiring several additional mechanical repairs outside the scope of the rust restoration, Bruno and his team managed to get the extra work done with minimal delay. Throughout the process, he maintained constant communication, providing pictures and updates at every step of the way. When it was time to pick up my truck, the battery was dead due to an old issue. Within the hour, Bruno personally tracked down and installed a new battery for me even though it was after hours. That’s customer service! The truck and frame look like new. Very impressed with the quality of the work. I would highly recommend Modern Rust and will be bringing another car to him for the same undercarriage work.

This place is amazing. I bought my truck in Canada several years ago. I knew that it had some rust problems. The rust kept getting worse. My wife advised me about modern rust, i had no idea the caliber of business. this is and how amazing Bruno really is. I got my 2013 F150 back from him yesterday. I feel confident this very rusty problem is now gone.We did other cosmetic things to this truck that look beautiful, thank you, Bruno for being the class act.You are. During this process, I sent him a couple of text messages and told him he is truly an artist, i know this to be true. I love my truck.I now do not have to buy another one. This review is as authentic as it gets!!!

Had to get a new tailgate piece, Bruno ordered and fought with the supplier to get the correct piece. H had it painted and installed it the first chance I could bring it down.

Came in one day to see if I could get the clear coat that was peeling of my BMW X5’s spoiler refinished and repainted. Bruno was incredibly accommodating and offered me a good price as well as a quick turn around on getting my vehicle back. The paint came out looking like like new, I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is need of similar repairs. J. Jacobs

Bruno at Modern Rust in Myrtle Beach did an ok job. He did match the colors very well but there was a couple of spots that had flaws either in the paint work or the clear coat. Then he just ceramic coated over them instead of correcting them. Also when they put the fenders back on they did not use the correct bolts so I ended up with a shredded tire in 80 miles. It shredded the sidewall with the incorrect bolts. Not happy with his work and will not be going back‼️

I have a 2014 Harley Davidson Fatboy that I took to Modern Rust. I had severe oxidation and rust on the hand controls, cables, and exhaust pipes. Owner Bruno DaSilva did not want to take on the job at first of cleaning it up because he told me they normally don’t work on Motorcycles. But he took the bike in on a Monday and had it looking like new on that Friday. Props to him and his staff for getting me back up and running just in time for Bike Week ‘26

Absolutely one of the best places to get rust taken care of. Bruno explained everything that he was going to do even kept me updated on the progress. He did undercoating and rockers. Unbelievable prices compared to up north.

Horrible! He forged my signature on my insurance check! Then did crappy work! I was stuck….. always promised to fix it. My door doesnt even hang right. The pic is over spray and the bottom panel looks greasy!

My car was returned 3 weeks later than promised and $1,500 more than I was quoted. Run from this business like the plague. NOT RECOMMEND 🎯

I took my GMC Sierra to Modern Rust for an extensive repair and Bruno and his team were highly professional from start to finish. They were punctual with their turnaround time even while dealing with inclement weather during the week they worked on it. Communication was excellent and I was kept informed throughout the process with picture updates which I really appreciated. I’m very satisfied with the end result and feel confident recommending Modern Rust to anyone looking for quality repair or restoration work.

Modern Rust did a GREAT job removing, repairing, and repainting the running boards on our Bronco. They do quality work, and their prices are reasonable. I will trust Bruno with any bodywork we need done in the future.

Bruno did an excellent job painting a super charger cover for my 2016 Corvette Z06. Not only did he complete this project ahead of schedule, but his meticulous attention to detail was truly commendable. I plan to bring him more work in the future. George Knouse

Excellent work excellent! Couldn’t be more pleased with both the undercoating and ceramic finish! The car was ready when promised and looks fabulous! I’ll be taking my other car for the same treatment soon! As promised after the excellent job on my wife’s Infiniti I had my new Murano undercoated and ceramic coated! Once again the detail work was outstanding! I’ll be taking both cars back to be re-coated when the time comes!

My F 250 had a lot of sunburn damage to the hood and cab. The bed had some dings in it also. Bruno and his crew stripped the whole truck, repaired the dings and then a full paint job. Looks as close to new as possible. Thanks Bruno

I had an excellent experience at Modern Rust body shop in Myrtle Beach. After a rear end collision, I brought my 2024 Chevrolet Equinox in for repair. The team, especially Bruno, was transparent and professional from the start. The written estimate was detailed, and they handled all communication's with my insurance company flawlessly. I was kept informed with regular updates throughout the entire process. When I picked up the vehicle, it looked brand new, you would never know it had been in an accident. The paint match was perfect, and the final bill was exactly what was quoted. It's rare to find such high-quality work combined with outstanding customer service. I highly recommend them.

Have an older 4Runner and we were told it was done because of rust. Took it to Modern Rust and Bruno walked us through what he could do. It looks fantastic and has brought it back to life and eased our minds. Taking him another car next week.
