Came here for a pre-purchase inspection in February 2026 on a used 2020 Tacoma I was buying from a local dealer (SICC, also really impressive for a used car dealership), on a word-of-mouth recommendation, and I'm very glad I did. The dealer actually drove the truck over to them since they still owned it at the time, and I just paid for the inspection itself. Eddie was the one who walked me through everything, and the thoroughness was honestly impressive. He had a tablet with photos documenting every single step of the inspection, and used it to show me exactly what he found — good, bad, and in-between. Instead of just handing me a vague pass/fail, he broke everything into three tiers: what needed fixing soon (but wasn't a safety or mechanical dealbreaker), what should get done within the next year or 20k miles, and what was just worth keeping an eye on. That breakdown gave me a real, honest picture of where the truck stood, and it was invaluable leverage when negotiating repairs with the dealer before I bought it. Professional, transparent, and clearly good at what they do. Highly recommend for anyone buying a used vehicle in the area or looking for some repairs. Eddie even took it for a test drive in various lighting conditions to see of the passenger-side door and panel replacement was actually noticeable. Very cool additional detail! I've been to plenty of auto repair shops and this one has been the only one to PROPERLY fix the problem and get my car back un shape for safe travel. I brought a diagnostic from another shop who charged insane prices and only spotted part of the problem. These guys were able to spot the entirety of the problem and it didn't cost my entire rent 😅 I'll be back whenever I need quality work done.

I’ve worked on cars all my life and went to school for auto mechanics and d.e.h.t this is By far the best mechanic I’ve seen since my dad lol. Supper friendly and really genially just a really nice guy. I highly recommend anyone to Mexico auto.

Brought my 2006 mdx, needed a lot of work.Eddie and crew are wonderful. Quality work and service with communication and great fair price. Highly recommend

1st experience with Eddie. took our old toyota corolla to him, he picks his calls,communicates the problem well,and is efficient. Easy to locate shop of River road,will definitely work with him again in the future.

Over priced

At another Auto Center not worth mentioning (cough)or leaving them a review. The cashier Helped sign an old man on keyosk for 10 am, informed me I needed to schedule online called me a girl and preceeded to open the door as if I need to find something outside. (no desire to assist through keyosk?). I responded with a heightened yes as a matter of fact I had done my research in advanced and had another servicer lined up. To be talked to as if there was nothing else in the store to purchase and there was no need to assist me or respect me was the final cause of why I drew the line and decided the Mexican Auto Shop is worth the investment and even if the auto shop not worth mentioning are cheaper i won't be going back. Its nothing like showing up 7am on the dot of the opening to a company and they litterally have nothing going on and refuse to service you and claim you must schedule in advance with no one in the lot to or seemingly scheduled at that time and to watch them reroute the elderly unnecessarily. It finally boiled down to  respect how I am treated, and if the elderly aren't happy thats my sign to clear as fast as the wind. At the Mexican Auto Center the quality of work was great the mechanic cared about the other issues that concerned my vehicle and frankly tried to save me some money lol 😆.  I'll never forget making the mistake of driving into the auto repair section in the back past the gate on the side. The team effort to get me some help even tho they were busy and wasn't aware of the man I had spoken to over the phone, nonetheless they all every employee attempted to assist. The mechanics in the lower section for Auto Repair tho surprised attempted to finish other vehicles allready there so they could help me. There was absolutely no one trying to just get rid of me going on. Before I could leave the property it was suggested that I go to the top section outside the repair center / to the Auto Care side where I met the man I had spoken to on the phone. He was enthusiastic and curious about how his company was found and serviced my car quickly. So if I had pulled in at the top it would have been an immediate service for an oil change a mistake on my end worth making as I seen all I needed to see for my future dealings. I enjoyed the effort from everyone that wanted to see my car fixed. I enjoyed resolving the problems that happened together after waiting an 1hr 30 min which i would of done at the store not worth mentioning and I enjoyed how I was treated. I will be back.  The only advice I would have is to be a little more open about the price because its necessary to know so people can plan but the price was fair and honest without the information. Oil and filter change 😃

My check engine light came on. I went into panic mode. I happen to be driving by Mexico Automotive Repair. A gentleman by the name of Eddie which was embroidered on his shirt came out he saw the look of distress on my face and calmly asked if he could take a look under my cars hood. He assessed the problem quickly and determined I was out of cooling fluid. he graciously filled my coolant fluid and sent me on my way. His active kindness had me thinking that there was still good people in the world thank you Eddie. I appreciate what you did for me yesterday.

My family have been using Mexico Auto repair for many years. Eddie always does top notch service. Today I brought a car in that I was considering buying for a pre purchase inspection, and he found multiple problems that would have cost me a small fortune. Thanks Eddie!

Took my daughter’s car because her dad thought he could change the spark plugs but he could not complete. Eddie allowed us to bring the spark plugs we had bought and he completed the work. Eddie was great in taking pictures and showing us the work he performed and even put in new lights that were out above the license plate without charging extra. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back for any repairs that our cars need.
