You cannot get any better than Dr McDonald, he's the best.

Dr McDonald was on call for the oral surgeon that did my daughter’s wisdom teeth extraction. Our daughter soon up with a swollen face after two weeks from her surgery. We called our regular surgeon and was told to call Dr McDonald since it was Labor Day weekend. Dr McDonald did not hesitate to meet with us and knew exactly what to do to care for our daughter. He was extremely friendly and provided great service. Thank you Dr McDonald for taking care of us on a holiday weekend and treating our emergency. Greatly appreciate your expertise and skill.

Dr McDonald is THE BEST. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor and surgery office. Sadly, I have had multiple reasons to visit an oral surgeon in the past few years, but I actually look forward to seeing Dr M and his super nice staff. The front desk folks are delightful, and his various nurses (Joanne, Sergey) are just very nice. Dr McDonald has a great deal of expertise - he's extracted my wisdom teeth, fixed a broken jaw with complications, and various other procedures. He listens carefully, has a fun and amusing personality, is an expert at anesthesia, and genuinely CARES about patients. He has been exceptionally kind and generous with me, and I trust him completely. Look no further!

Dr. McDonald and dental assistant are kind and professional . However, I️ cannot say the same for Rebecca, the front desk staff. On Monday afternoon after initial visit with Dentist, an operative appointment was made before leaving for my teen daughter at 8am on Friday. Something that I was informed needed to take place sooner then later. Yet today, the day of appointment while in route to office from another city, I️ called to respectfully inform the office that we’d be no more than 6 minutes late, if that . To my dismay, the front desk staff nonchalantly told me that they forgot to input my daughters appointment information in system. Rightfully, I was livid. Not only did I have to make adjustments to my daughter’s school schedule, as well as my schedule for the entire day, my poor child could not have any food nor liquids 8 hours up to appointment.Yet, Rebecca was quite curt about this inconvenience. Not only that, she was extremely dismissive and casually responded with “it’s a human error,” as though I️ should not be bothered or upset. To add insult to injury by down playing their offices error, she proceeded to make light of this inconvenience by stating that there was a 10am appointment we could have. Fortunately, another patient was kind enough to give up their 9am appointment , so we could have it. Thank you kindly to them. Nonetheless, upon arrival, there was no welcome from the front desk. Papers were handed to me to sign. Along with the attitude and unprofessionalism, snide comments have been made behind the desk as though I cannot hear them. Tisk tisk. I️ am very disappointed by the complete disregard from Rebecca at the front desk. Yes human error happens. However, after the dentist insisted this appointment be made immediately, and I️ took heed to this by making appointment right after initial consultation, Rebecca did not have to discount nor disregard the inconvenience this created for me and my child! Check twice that your appointment is confirmed, so you do not have the same experience. Other than this, Dr. McDonald gets 5+ stars! Dr. McDonald is extremely patient, kind , and has great serse of humor.

THIS DOCTOR IS NOT IN NETWORK WITH ANY INSURANCE PROVIDER They misled me and tried to get go me sign paperwork while being very dodgy about why they are listed to be in network but they are not (they were "transitioning" for 5 months?) Had my girlfriend who works in the industry not been with me, I would've never known The front desk is also rude and unprofessional. They missed my emails and calls and tried to convince me I never called. I showed the logs and said they don't appear on their end. Called them right there and then, and their phone rang. Crazy! Also the only reason I had to email them about my appointment is that they rescheduled me and I was just confirming that I'm okay with it. They somehow missed the confirmation email and decided to cancel my appointment when I showed up without warning Awful practice. I went to Berkeley Olinda oral care instead. So much more professional and in network with providers, would take your business there

Dr. McDonald came in on the weekend to treat my adult daughter, who was in a great deal of pain from dry sockets following removal of wisdom teeth by another oral surgeon. His treatment alleviated her severe pain and distress very quickly and his manner could not have been more kind, comforting and respectful. He explained everything clearly and answered all her questions. If I should ever need an oral surgeon I will consult Dr. McDonald without hesitation.

I was referred by my dentist for oral surgery. I haven't even seen Dr. McDonald yet but I wanted to write a review to say how helpful Eva on his staff has been. She is extremely knowledgeable and was very patient with my many questions about costs and insurance coverage. She was super helpful in guiding me on the best choices for secondary insurance before I start my treatment in 2021. Thank you, Eva!

I have an almost innate fear of dentists since my childhood so was definitely not looking forward to getting two wisdom teeth removed. I found Dr Alex to be very reasoned and clear in his explanations and advice during consultation. He also has a very reassuring manner because he seems to empathize with ones fears and without talking down to me made it clear how things would go. On the day of surgery he was really good at reassuring and explaining what he was doing. I literally experienced no pain despite choosing not to be sedated and he was done in like 30 minutes. Strong hands clearly but a uniquely good bedside manner as well, so obviously a skilled expert.

My periodontist sent me to Andy's office for him to give a second opinion on a small skin lesion on my tongue. Andy spent nearly an hour with me answering all my questions and offering his counsel and options for other specialists for me to see. He never made me feel rushed and was very kind and honest. i recommend him highly - it was fantastic customer service.
