Crunch Fitness - Granite Bay

This place is disgustingly greedy. The plans get more expensive without any clear notice. And on the last month I was charged for the membership fee, and then when I cancelled I had to pay the membership fee twice. It’s basically the scummiest thing I’ve ever encountered with a place like this. How are you gonna charge me just to stop going? Actually pathetic business. Congrats, you made someone hate you guys forever.

I have been working out at this gym 6 years and I was finishing a cool down right in this corner by window. This trainer Aiden (employee) said “You got to move!” his class was feet away and I was not any bother to any of the ladies that what huddled near him listening to his advice. He directed so rudely with no explanation and couldn’t handle a person doing a cool down my window. Rude rude rude employee! So embarrassing. Even the other gym guests were like what’s his problem. I was in that corner by the foam block (he was not using and the rack, window. Geez. Grumpy rude Aiden!!! All the other group trainers allow you to discreetly grab a weight or work outside their little ring. I never seen anything like this! This guy has no gym ettique or discretion. He could of quietly said something quietly and no be so humiliating and also everyone else and their mother is allowed to work out quietly near group training- why am I not allowed in the general vacinity at all. Heartless guy!

Clean gym. Lots of equipment. Helpful staff.

Sadly, I have to write this, but so many people are not aware of the ai/facial recognition cameras that are tracking them!! Again, this review has nothing to do with the staff/service of Crunch Fitness per se, but with the recently installed Flock ai cameras that are scanning every man, woman, and child entering and exiting this shopping center. Why does Flock, a private company ran by Peter Thiel, need to be sending our footage to Ai that is building a pattern of life model with FACIAL recognition?!... P.s. these cameras are also known to share information with Border Patrol, ICE and other federal agencies. I used to spend so much time at Crunch, El Sombrero Taqueria (the best :/ ), and the super sweet new Nugget, but not anymore! DO NOT SHOP here if you value your 4th Amendment and privacy rights and you do not want your way of life tracked by Ai/Facial Recognition technology : ) I will come back when the cameras are down..

I love crunch and recently moved to the area so I had to find a new gym and I love the area but the employees are never on the floor helping out.
