I cannot say enough good things about this shop and the people that work there. Although an unfortunate event brought us together, they were literally the answer to my prayers. Allow me to explain: my car got hit by a drunk driver while parked outside my home on the city street while I was out of town on vacation and the owner of the shop actually witnessed the accident and left his card. Meanwhile, I have a whole different car that I had been struggling to find someone to fix. I had spent over $2,000 trying to fix the car that had not gotten hit and was still having issues with it. That’s when I met Chris, the owner, who witnessed the accident and literally took care of everything. He picked up the car that was hit at a time that was convenient for me and introduced me to his shop manager, Harry. Harry is literally the sweetest man you will ever meet. Not only did he do a fantastic job on the car that was hit (my car literally looks like nothing ever happened to it), he also took care of the issues with my other car that I had been trying to fix all summer! If you’ve been struggling to find a trustworthy mechanic, look no further. Oscar’s is the shop for you. As long as I live in Chicago, Oscar’s will be my go-to shop for all my car needs.

Spent almost month waiting on paint job and new door for my car. kept getting told itl be done on this day then another day then another day until we were finally about to hit the month mark. excuse after excuse from needing to buy the paint to suddenly needing a new door. took my insurance check, didn't charge me my deductible. told me to expect an additional check from my insurance and never heard from him again. picked up my car with dust all inside my car still. never got a receipt for this door he supposedly needed to buy. the main guy conveniently wasn't there when i went to pick up the car. told me he'd send the receipt NEVER DID. nor did i ever get another check from my insurance. so if you're a women with no knowledge of how this car stuff goes. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE TO HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST. great paint job tho lol

I am so amazed that I'm speechless. The bodywork they did on my car is amazing it looks brand new the quality of their work is phenomenal I was so happy when I saw my car, the price was right. They are great amazing people especially Harry i can't say enough about him, he's cool, very sweet, honest and caring about his customers. I highly recommend them for real! If I could give them 20 stars I would. The best auto body shop in Chicago by far, this is my experience with them. ❤️❤️❤️

While we met under the unfortunate circumstances of my daughter's car accident, I am so grateful that I brought our car to Oscar's. They did an excellent job with the repairs, worked seamlessly with my insurance (despite not being one of their preferred repair shops), and worked much more quickly than I expected. They even assisted us in getting a rental while the work was being done. What will definitely have me coming back for any future service, though, is Harry. He was very helpful and communicative during the whole process and very patient with all my questions. He soothed my frayed nerves after a very harrowing day. I highly recommend Oscar's Auto Body and Mechanical for all your car needs!

Really great place! Seamless insurance work, had FLAWLESS body work done a couple years ago. I live down the block and walk by the wrecks that get delivered here every day. They stay busy! I just had some work done that was a pain in the butt kind of thing my regular mechanic didn't want to touch, electrical water issue, and Harry got it done in the best way possible. I recommend anything you need done, use Oscar's.

Oscar's is a local, indepedently-owned, small business in Chicago. I've used them for several years and the prices are always great. They recognize me when I call or come in, and are friendly and willing to go the extra mile to keep you happy. I was recently in an expensive accident, for the first time. My insurance told me to get an estimate at a big body shop I didn't know. The price was eye-watering. My company decided it was a total loss. However, we love our car and it has only 84,000 miles on it. I decided to bring it to Oscar's to see what they said. They gave us a much better price to fix it. Harry, the amazing owner, talked us through navigating the process of getting an insurance payout while keeping our car. Oscar's price was so good, we decided to repair the A/C compressor as well (needed fixing before the accident). I can't say enough great things about this shop. I'm a customer for life.

Great experience here. They helped me diagnose and fix an issue on my BMW and took the time to explain everything without trying to upsell me. Honest, helpful, and easy to work with. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a trustworthy shop.

Firstly let me say I absolutely will not go anywhere else in the city or surrounding suburbs…I only go to Oscar’s auto body I been here a few times over the past 7 years never have been let down the body work is prestine accurate & perfect ever time as well with their mechanical side they will walk thru and show you everything that needs to be done or taken care of I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done whether it’s body work or mechanical you won’t get service like this anywhere else come ask for The gentleman in front his name is Harry.

I am so grateful for the service we received. Even though we had to choose an insurance-approved repair shop (we have an EV) the staff at Oscars, particularly George, could not have been more considerate and professional. They stored our car safely for four days as we waites for the insurance company to tow the car. Someone from Oscar's was always available to talk to us and keep us posted. Additionally, their tow truck driver, was also professional and helpful.

Amazing service! Harry was the best and made sure I was taken care of after an unfortunate accident where a large tree branch fell on my car. The work and detailing was top notch and the staff was very communicative and helpful every step of the process. They included a life warranty as well for the work. Highly recommended if you are looking for a shop that excels in its craft and also works with integrity.

Incredible body shop, they went above and beyond to get my car fixed and back on the road after a collision for an extremely fair price. Harry is tremendously helpful and friendly, with clear communication every step of the way. After a month or so, the repairs are holding up beautifully, can't recommend this place enough.

I had the best experience with Oscar’s today! Not only did they give exceptional customer service, they were thorough and honest. I will be back for anything my car needs from them. I couldn’t recommend them enough, I was treated like family and am happy to have a local place I can turn to if I need work done on my car!

I took my car to Oscar's after my catalytic converter was stolen and they turned a terrible situation completely around for me. They were fast, upfront, and communicative through the entire repair process. It's hard to find a mechanic you feel like you can trust, but there's no doubt in my mind that this is the place to go for any repairs or service I'll need in the future!

Best body shop in town. These guys knew exactly what they were doing with my Ferrari. I highly recommend this place for any body work you need.
